France Sclérose en Plaques welcomes any basic and clinical research applications focused on Multiple Sclerosis or related disorders including, for example: immunologic basis of MS, myelin biology, axonal degeneration, restoration of myelin and axonal integrity, susceptibility to MS, epidemiology, virology, infectious disease processes that may trigger disease activity, imaging technology, identification and use of surrogate markers, clinical research and therapeutics, and so on. The career transition award is meant to support young investigators early in their professional career and wishing to apply to the competitive examinations of public research institutes....

The 'EMERGENCE' call for research proposals is intended to support, over a period of 3 years the creation of a national network to develop an innovative research project, initiate a new technology or validate a specific approach in MS and/or related disorders. The allocated budget, 150 k € per year for 3 years, will cover operating expenses, small equipment and / or contract salaries related to the collaborative project, as well as short-term scientific exchange missions between network partner laboratories....

1. Cet appel à projets est destiné aux équipes labellisées, par une université ou un établissement public scientifique et technique, en sciences humaines et sociales, sciences de la santé, économie de la santé, en neurologie, psychologie, sociologie, épidémiologie, en sciences du numérique/de l’information. 2. Cet appel à projets vise à soutenir des recherches pluridisciplinaires innovantes sur des méthodes d’approches personnalisées de la sclérose en plaques ou d’une maladie apparentée à tous les stades de la maladie, sur son impact social et économique, sur le traitement et l’utilisation des données cliniques associées. Les projets de recherche pourront porter notamment (mais pas exclusivement) sur l’un des thèmes suivants : a. L’entrée dans la maladie : annonce du diagnostic, suivi, prise en charge b. L’évolution de la maladie : progression du handicap, concept de maladie chronique, gestion du vieillissement c. Le retentissement personnel, familial et social de la maladie d. L’impact socio-économique de la maladie e. La démocratie sanitaire : identification de populations à risque, différences de prises en charge selon les populations f. Exploration de la perte d'autonomie et/ou d'indépendance et ses répercussions sur les personnes malades et leur environnement. g. Les patients connectés : suivi de la maladie par objets connectés, impact des réseaux sociaux, traçabilité et sécurisation des données collectées h. Etc. 3. L’étude doit être collaborative pluridisciplinaire, au niveau national ou international, coordonnée par une équipe française ;...
